SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT : our professionals are committed !
Eating and drinking
To sample our excellent local produce, head to the market at La Roseraie which grows and sells fruit and vegetables to the public and professionals, or the Pépinière de la Grangue nursery which offers produce from Ferme de l’Empereur, or taste the free-range eggs from Jardin de Zébulon.
The hotels La Figuière and La Ferme d’Augustin also cultivate their own fruit and vegetables which they serve to guests.
To accompany any dish, there is nothing like a Provencal organic wine or those produced using responsible agricultural methods. Several cellars await you if you wish to enjoy this experience : La Tourraque, Mas de Pampelonne, Château Volterra and Domaine les Bouis.
For your convenience, a list of shops selling organic produce is available on request !
Getting about
To get around the commune, you can opt for an electric-assisted bicycle: no noise, no pollution and a helping hand just when a slope seems too steep ! You will find them at Pep’s Spirit and Vélorama.
As for public transport, there two bus routes on the VARLIB network that stop in the village, so you are free to roam.
Taking care of yourself
It is rare enough to draw attention to it, but this commune is home to a range of original organic beauty products, Rosée de Ramatuelle. And two shops in the village also sell organic products : Temple de la Savonnerie (soaps) and Terre de l’Olivier.
There are many other initiatives by tourism professionals in Ramatuelle that we could cite, like for example the outdoor hotels Kon Tiki and La Toison d’or which convert oil from frying into “fuel” for their maintenance equipment, or who use electric carts to get about. So many good practices that you can support by choosing these committed professionals.
