In 1960, two legendary couples stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

Simone Signoret and Yves Montant live in bungalow 20: they love each other, they're handsome, still young, full of life and at the height of their fame. But Marilyn Monroe, living in the bungalow next door, is an irresistible woman whose relationship with writer Arthur Millet is on the rocks. Simone becomes Marilyn's friend, while Yves tours with her, trying to resist her seduction. Alas, Arthus runs away. The lives of four people are about to be shattered...
