Exposition - « Lumière du sud » de Jean Marie Ferrer

"In a practice that is both recurrent and obsessive, I play with the realistic texture of the sea until I reach an abstract form. I dismantle the wave, breaking it down into geometric and anatomical elements, in order to recompose it.

Opening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10 am and 1 pm and between 3 pm and 7 pm. On Saturday between 3 pm and 7 pm. On Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm.

This recomposition embraces not only the artist in me, but also the viewers, creating an immersive experience that goes beyond mere vision. It's an invitation to stop, to embark on a sensory journey, awakening the sense of smell, hearing and taste, letting ourselves be guided by natural forces, with their ups and downs, their moments of calm and their storms. To finally feel that we belong to a larger system outside time, where we are all linked by our common existence in this world of perpetual motion. In this quest, I capture, hour after hour, brushstroke after brushstroke, the glint of sunlight on the crests of waves. I seek to capture the power of their alliance, reproduce their balance, reveal their purity and liberating force. But the wave resists. It appears, then disappears. And I begin again and again, on new beaches, new rays of sunshine.
