THEIR IMAGINARY SOUTH
A photographer and a stylist, childhood friends who now live in Paris, a ceramist who has returned to live and set up her studio in Cogolin after having lived in Paris and then London, and a designer, illustrator and visual artist who now lives by the sea at L'Escalet in Ramatuelle: four artists who revisit myths and stories inspired by the coast and their childhood memories to dream up their own Sud, which they rediscover on each return.
They propose original works created throughout the year, linked to their roots, their childhood memories and the idea they have of their home territory or its coastline.

Photography (digital) :
By Elisa Juge-Holtermann and Marion Lacaze: childhood friends, they grew up on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, before leaving together to attend a Hojskole art school in Denmark. Today, they live and work in Paris, returning regularly to recharge their batteries in the South of France.

. Elisa Juge-Holtermann: after her Bac at the Lycée du Golfe, she attended a Manaa (Mise à Niveau Arts Appliqués) at La Garde. A graduate in Applied Arts from the Olivier de Serre school, she is now manager of the Natural Light Studio photo studio in Paris, while pursuing her career as a freelance artist.
. Marion Lacaze graduated in fashion design from the Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris in 2022. She is currently artistic director of Petitjean Paris, which specializes in silk squares. Marion created the dress and headdress used in her friend's photographs from scratch.

Ceramics :
. Anaïs Gazerian, 24, is a ceramist. At an early age, she apprenticed as a jeweler with Louis Vuitton in Paris, then trained in ceramics in London. Back in the South of France for the past year, the artist has just opened a tearoom, "Gaïa, de la terre à la table", on the Passage Mendès-France in Cogolin, where she exhibits her work. For the exhibition, she has created a few unique pieces influenced by her Armenian origins.

Drawing-collage-silver photography :
. Jade Anquetil, 25, is a visual artist who loves drawing, silver photography and Polaroid. Originally from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, after a law/LEA degree she attended a MANAA (Mise à Niveau Arts Appliqués) in Nevers and a preparatory class in art & design. The artist now lives at l'Escalet in Ramatuelle, facing the sea. "Nature is a playground, an inexhaustible source of inspiration," she says.
